Federal funding for tariff-affected and defence-ready businesses

Two federal funding programs are currently accepting applications from eligible Prairie businesses and organizations. Saskatchewan businesses navigating tariff uncertainty and looking to grow their competitive edge now have access to two significant federal funding programs delivered through Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan).

Applications for both programs will be accepted until December 31, 2027, or until all available funding is committed. Projects must be completed by March 31, 2028.

Eligibility requirements and funding terms vary. Businesses interested in either program should review the full PrairiesCan criteria and apply as early as possible.
