Over the past 15 years, 3twenty has evolved from a small Saskatchewan startup with an idea they took to CBC Dragons’ Den, into a growing, well-established company taking on increasingly complex projects in Western Canada. Along the way, co-founders Bryan McCrea and Evan Willoughby have experienced the highs, lows, growing pains and unexpected challenges that come with building a business – and figuring out how your own role needs to change as the business grows.
Bryan will share the 3twenty story through a different lens: not simply how to survive the first five years, but how to evolve and grow beyond. He’ll explore the uncomfortable transitions from entrepreneur to leader, from doing everything yourself to trusting others, from chasing every opportunity to learning when to say no, and from measuring success by survival and revenue to thinking more intentionally about people, culture, impact and what you actually want the business to become. Part business story, part reflection on 15 years of entrepreneurship, this keynote will offer an honest look at what changes—and what shouldn’t—as a small business becomes something bigger.
